DESCRIPTION:Hosted By: Leeds University Women in Leadership Society and Leeds University Feminist Society \n‘Leeds University’s Feminist Society and Women in Leadership Society have collaborated to create our very first Period Party. In support of The Bloody Good Period charity\, we will be hosting an event as a means to raise funds\, donations and awareness to this notable cause. The Bloody Good Period works to collect ‘period supplies for refugees\, asylum seekers and those who cant afford it’. \nFeaturing: \n-Leeds uni’s very own Shauna to DJ\n-Union bar and drinks\n-Period themed cupcakes from local bakeries\n-Photo-op stand for Instagram\n-‘Pin the pad on the panties’ game with prizes\n-Appearance from Matilda Gomersall\, hand stitching pads for Kenyan School Girls\n-Period confession box for shits and giggz \nIt would be wonderful to see as many people there as possible to raise as much as we can for a really important cause!\nSpecial thanks to Catheryne Alicia Sturgess-Fairbairn\, Cassie Bythell\, Emily Dean and Sophie Tew.‘ \n
