DESCRIPTION:Chance to see the new documentary ‘In Our Hands’ by the Land Workers Alliance. \nFilmed throughout 2016\, this documentary tells the story of the revolution that’s taking place in farming in the UK. These are real life stories of real life farmers who are taking back control of their lives and their livelihoods. \nIn 67 minutes the film takes you on a journey of hope and inspiration through the stories of these farmers\, who refuse to be ground down by the machinery of agri-business. \nThe film captures the daunting Brexit moment\, as the UK leaves the European Union and begins to redefine its farming politics for the first time since the Second World War. \nIn Our Hands shows how we can ‘bring back life to the soil\, a fair wage to the farmer and a flavour to the tomato’’. \nThe future really is …….. In Our Hands. \nThis event is free- donations to the Landworkers Alliance much appreciated.
