SUMMARY:Leeds for Change Supporter Event
DESCRIPTION:\n\n\n\nShape the direction of Leeds for Change. What challenges do you face in your change-making? How has LFC helped and what more can we do?\n\n\n\n\n\n—\n\n\nLast month\, our staff and steering committee met to reflect on our work over the last 6 years and plan how to make our work ahead sustainable for the long term. \nAmid the uncertainty of this moment\, we want to be clear about our successes and difficulties\, where we want to go next\, and hold space for our community of support to advise us and shape our work.  \nWe run on donations from the people of Leeds. Our donors have enabled us to make it easier to get involved in Leeds activism across issues – from racial justice and climate justice\, to worker’s rights and youth organising. Our tools are used over 1\,000 times a month and promote over 180 social change groups in Leeds.  \nDuring the event\, we’ll share an overview of our work over the last years\, share our plans and visions\, ask for your input to shape our direction\, and offer ways to be a part of the work.  \nWe’re inviting current supporters\, prospective supporters and all friends of Leeds for Change – we hope you can make it. We know our vision for supporting social justice in Leeds going forward demand strengthening and widening our supporter community\, and we’d love for you to be a part of it.  \n— \nThe event will take place online via Zoom. If you register\, we’ll send the Zoom link (for you the join the meeting) closer to the event time.  \nHere is a guide on how to use Zoom. If you have any questions about this event\, email them to us at info@leedsforchange.org.uk.  \nThe session will be recorded so we can make notes of what is said. The recording will be stored confidentially for LFC team to read only\, and will be deleted after we have taken notes.  \nSee you there! \n\n
