SUMMARY:Launch of Whitechapel Welcomes Refugees
DESCRIPTION:As staff at Citizens UK we want the charity to lead by example and sponsor its own Syrian Refugee family in Tower Hamlets. We’re inviting fellow staff and Cavell Street neighbours to join us for lunch and find out what it will take to make this ambition a reality. \nAnyone with an interest in getting involved in the group is welcome\, either as part of the steering committee or in a small simple way such as helping with some fundraising activity. We’ll provide a short briefing on what’s needed\, when and how much time it takes\, and designate roles within the team. \n
