SUMMARY:Dr Bike at Leeds Bike Mill: free checks and basic repairs
DESCRIPTION:We’ll be outside our workshop on Mabgate Green (just off Regent Street in the City Centre) on Saturday 5th September offering FREE bike checks and FREE basic repairs. Thanks to Cycling UK’s #BigBikeRevival!\n\nNo need to book. Bring your bike along but bear in mind that we will only have time to look at a certain number of bikes and so may have to turn you away if we have reached capacity.\n\nYour bike will be checked over by a qualified mechanic and basic repairs will be made where possible e.g. adjustment of brakes and gears; replacement of cables and brake pads; repairing a puncture; oiling the chain. The mechanic will advise you of any further repairs that need to be made.\n\nCOVID-19 PROTOCOL: We will be outdoors however please remember to practise social distancing by remaining outside of the mechanic’s work area and keeping a 2m+ distance between yourself and others. The mechanic will wear a clean pair of gloves for each bike and disinfect contact points before handing the bike back to you.\n
