DESCRIPTION:Thursday 14 February will be one of the most decisive moments in modern British history. It is the day that the UK parliament will once again have to decide how to proceed with Brexit. Will they accept Theresa May’s disastrous EU Withdrawal Agreement? Will they back a People’s Vote? Or will they fail to act\, and so send us spiralling into the nightmare of a “No Deal” Brexit? \nJoin Leeds for Europe as we show that we will not let this Brexit pass without us raising our voices in a howl of anger and rage. Half of the UK population have been ignored since the 2016 referendum. It is time for us to make ourselves heard and to change the direction of travel before it is too late. \nWe will assemble in City Square at 5.30pm before marching through the city. Full details will be announced nearer the time\, but please confirm your attendance now by reserving a ticket so we have an idea of the numbers that we will need to plan for. \nWe’re pleased to announce that former Green Party Leader\, Natalie Bennett\, and current Chair of Voices for Europe\, Emmy van Deurzen\, will be speaking at the rally after the march.
