Every second Saturday of the month join artist Jay Gadhia at Inkwell Arts at this experiential, therapeutic andf relaxing painting workshop where we will help you to explore the possibilities of using found objects, household items and tools to express yourself through abstract painting… without a brush! The session explores mark making, printmaking and the experience of working with paint.

This is an open workshop, where anyone who wants to use art as a medium to relax, unwind and make friends can come along to. It is suitable for more experienced painters as well as complete novices.
We will provide everything you need but you are vwelcome to bring along your own found objects that you may like to experiment using to paint with.
Inkwell is a safe, creative community art space in the heart of Chapel Allerton and is part of Leeds Mind a national charity that supports people expereincing mental health difficulties. We believe individuals flourish through creative practice and thought and provide classes and activities that enhance wellbeing by using art as a tool.
There is a vegetarian cafe at the centre that serves delicious lunches and full espresso bar service and homemade cakes.
